Music Production Mentorship
A 3-Month 1:1 Journey for Beginners

This mentorship is for aspiring producers who'd love a head start on their production journey and want to dive into the world of electronic music.

Over three months, I'll guide you one-on-one through the foundations of music production with one clear aim: to help you create your first finished track, and give you the skills, habits and confidence to keep creating long after our time together ends.

This program is designed for people who are ready to dedicate their time and initiative to learning the craft. I can't walk this path for you, but I'd love to guide you along the way, widen your perspective, and give you an insight into the vast world of music production. Alongside the technical side, I'll share the philosophical and creative principles that help you tap into your own creative energy, because great music comes from both skill and soul.

Why three months?
Learning music production isn't just about taking in information. It's about practising, experimenting, getting stuck, and finding your way through. Three months gives you the space to do exactly that. Between our sessions, you'll have time to put what you've learned into practice, build a creative routine that sticks, and bring your questions and progress back to each session.

Online or in person, your choice
You can join the mentorship from anywhere via online sessions, or meet with me in person in North Brisbane. Many people enjoy a mix of both. For in-person sessions, simply bring your own laptop with Ableton Live installed. Don't have Ableton yet? We'll talk through the best version for you in our discovery call.

Phase 2: Rhythm and groove. Drums, percussion, and the pulse that moves a track.
Phase 3: Harmony and melody. Music theory in practice, chords, basslines, and recording your first ideas.
Phase 4: Sound design. Creating and shaping sounds that feel like you.
Phase 5: Arrangement and mixing. Turning loops into a full track and bringing it all into balance.
Phase 6: Finishing your track. The final polish, an introduction to mastering, and letting go of perfectionism so your music can finally be heard.

A little about my journey
Over the past 10 years, I've built deep knowledge as a producer in Ableton Live.
My journey began in Germany, in my hometown near Frankfurt am Main, where I started out as a DJ, event host and producer. For years I produced music every day for hours. I was completely hooked and loved to get lost in sound.

Along the way, I studied sound engineering at SAE Frankfurt, where I graduated with a diploma. There I learned the theory behind the music: music theory, sound design, recording, microphoning instruments, mixing and mastering, as well as podcast production.

My love for music has been a companion wherever I've gone. I've produced music in some of the most beautiful places in Aotearoa and Australia. In New Zealand, I kept organising events, and that's where I met my beautiful wife Tūī, a creative and expressive arts coach.

Today I'm a professional DJ across South East Queensland and Northern NSW, focusing on weddings and corporate events. And now I'd love to share what I've learned with you.

Does this sound like you?
If you're new to music production, I know the struggles you might be facing, because I've been there too:
-
Not knowing where to start
-
Feeling overwhelmed by all the information out there, with no clear structure
-
Hitting creative blocks
-
Wondering how to find your own sound
-
Thinking you're not good enough
-
Perfectionism that stops you from ever releasing your music
If any of this resonates, or you simply want to start your journey as a music producer with a solid foundation to support you on the path ahead, then this mentorship is for you.

The price is the same whether we work online, in person, or a mix of both.

sacred man
A safe space for men to slow down, breathe, and be witnessed.
Sacred Man is a monthly sharing circle for men who feel the call to connect more deeply with themselves in a grounded, conscious, and supportive environment.

Each circle includes guided breathwork, allowing us to arrive fully in the space and learn tools to regulate our nervous systems.
As the speed of our lives can sometimes feel as if everything is moving fast, these ancient techniques support us in slowing down and to connect with our true nature

From here, the circle is opened, and a safe container is held — a space where men are invited to share their inner world, experiences, insights, and challenges.
