I am at the bridge between all that came before and motherhood ahead. The crossroads, Goddess Hekate energy. Magic lies here, between worlds. What a journey it’s been thus far, 2025 as newlyweds, growing together as a married couple. The year of the snake and number 9 of completion has seen us through our fairytale wedding, time in Australia with both of our families and friends, upsizing our car and home, two honeymoons, the growth of our Co-Creators community, new friendships, new workshops, conceiving a baby under the moon, our pregnancy journey, professional growth in teaching, the completion of holistic health and wellbeing courses, becoming a directive member of the LoveLight Collective, a new art studio, relaunching an art business, the birth of a wedding and events DJ business, finishing the school year with full registration and our biggest community event yet- Elemental Showcase.

The day after the Elemental Showcase I had a good cry in the ocean, cracking myself open when I vocalized these very simple words – “thank you Tui”. I heard it many times from others on the evening of the Showcase, a celebration of creative expression and connection, guided by the Elements. I am grateful to those who share kind words and gratitude, but how much can it sink in until I give it to myself? It is in integration, time spent with myself in a safe environment, that I can acknowledge what it all means to me.

I find joy in creating opportunities for both myself and others to openly express creative talent, to experience new and curious moments, to discover something about themselves, to find healing and to uncover hidden depths with the light of art and creativity. As social beings, we need connection and acceptance, to co-create safe and welcoming environments where we can respect and support each other in authentic expression.

I find purpose in nurturing the spark of passion in those I connect with, guiding them to their soul’s calling. And it all starts with me. What I gifted myself this night of the Elemental Showcase was the opportunity to shine in my element, as my favourite element! I am water. To share my art, my words, my flow, with others who lovingly receive. The opportunity to perform as my younger self once did, the quiet girl who loved to be on stage with others and reshape preconceived ideas of who she is. Despite my nerves, I love to try new things and push the parameters of my comfort zone, knowing that something magical lies beyond. Because it’s not even about me, but the energy that flows through me. I feel Divinely connected through my art, poetry and movement, I channel something greater than myself. A wisdom beyond words.

I love to explore my creative potential, it makes me feel alive and free. I want to do great things in the world of creative expression and self-empowerment. Artistic expansion. Community connection. Who’s with me?

I believe art is our birthright, not only a privilege, something to put on a pedestal. We are here to unite in song, dance, artmaking, music. We were made to sing, move, draw, share. In doing so, we allow our emotions, our energy, to flow freely. Our vibration increases as we release the weight of our burdens. Transmuting our pain, transforming our suffering into beauty. This is health, this is wealth. We were not meant to cage ourselves in straight lines and office boxes, body rigid and mind closed. This is where disease starts, in the disconnection of mind, body and spirit. But we can heal this, we can remember who we are beyond limited beliefs, through the power of creativity.

Artistic expression is the pathway to thriving, which we are all capable of. I endeavor to help others unlock their creative potential and speak their truth in the process. Everyone is an artist. Not the same artist mind you, so let’s not compare. There is so much more to being an artist than making work that looks appealing. Being an artist is being curious enough to accept the journey, knowing that the worst thing that can happen is doing nothing at all. Being an artist doesn’t come without fear… for this is the space to work through it! Being an artist is being brave, despite the fear. The reward is yours and yours only to uncover.

So, what’s next on this adventure we call life and the journey of creativity?

What’s next for me is rest, personal projects in the studio, time at the beach and quality, family time over the Summer break. In two months, we will receive our first daughter Aroha, and the next chapter begins. I invite you all to take time for yourself as we move into a new year, a new cycle, to rest and reflect and count your blessings. 2025 has seen big shifts, a great shedding, realizations and energetic clearings. Do you see where you are now, in the bigger picture? Look at how far you have come. Who are you now at the end of the road? How do you feel in your body, what does your heart whisper when you are still?

Co-Creators Connective 2026

You may have noticed this is my one and only blog post of 2025. Yannik and I made the unofficial decision to put Your Inner Co-Creator on the backburner this year to focus on other pursuits, as we juggled building multiple businesses, our day jobs and pregnancy whilst protecting our peace. Family and balance are amongst our highest values and we want our creative endeavors to reflect this.

That said, I have so much material to share and dreams of writing books that I have decided to bring our blog back to life in 2026. If you would like me to cover any particular topics, have any questions or would like me to share more of my creative writing, please reach out and drop us a message. We are also opening up the space for guest bloggers and creatives to share their wisdom. Send an email to info@co-creatorsconnective.com if you’d like to collaborate.

In terms of our community offerings at The LoveLight Temple in Margate next year, we will have 3 regular events:

  • Creators Connect – an evening of creative connection, collaboration, and community. Creators Connect is a casual, open-door gathering where you can bring along a project you're working on, jam with others, swap or sell your art, or simply soak up the inspiration. Monthly, Feb onwards.

  • Sacred Man – a men’s circle grounded in Divine Masculine energy, collaboration, breathwork and sound. Monthly, Jan onwards.

  • Mums N Bubs art group – a supportive group for mothers to gather and connect in a nurturing environment, cultivating creativity and baby bonding through artistic projects like scrapbooking. Weekly, Aug onwards. Please contact tuisophia@co-creatorsconnective.com with expressions of interest.

We will also have the occasional ecstatic dance!

As we navigate becoming parents and continuing our work within the community, we appreciate your patience and fluidity. Thank you all for the love and support we receive. We are grateful to our growing Co-Creators community and our family at The LoveLight Temple. We wish you a joyful summer, a restful break, and a magical New Year. May all your dreams come true.

See you over the bridge!
